This poor deer was sighted on busy Bancroft St last Sunday--in front of the University of Toledo. The poor little guy looked stunned---and so did I. He hoofed it down the middle of the street for awhile and then headed into the University. It made me remember a few years ago, I was walking from the bookstore in the middle of campus and saw a young deer that had been hit by a car and was so frightened while laying in the road. At the time I thought it bizarre to see a deer in the middle of this campus but now I am thinking, it isn't so unusual!
