The Garden if finally planted. This is the first year we successfully grew tomatoes from seed. Putting them several inches under a flourescent fixture at night made a huge difference. Next year we will do more. The red tarp is a weed barrier. Dan read that tomatoes do better when planted on the red plastic and this is the 2nd year we are doing that. We planted 4th of July, Salsa, and Whopper tomatoes. Also 2 types of green peppers, Sweet Banana peppers, jalapenos, Vidalia onions, Neon Eggplant, Black Italian Eggplant, zucchini, Kohlrabi and Brussel Sprouts. The Cherry Tomatoes will go in pots on the deck. Notice Farmer McGregor Dan putting up his rabbit barrier. He should take a lesson from my Mom----she would just put in extra plants so there would be enough for the rabbits and us. And speaking of Mom--Happy MOTHER's DAY all you wonderful mothers. I wish I could give each of you a hug. Have a wonderful day---you deserve it!!
