A Glorious Day for a Race

I am scooping Matt by writing about his race. We all got up at the crack of dawn to go see Matt and Kellie run their 5k at Lourdes College. And I am proud to say they did great. Matt took 3rd in his age group--not bad for his first race and Kellie set her pesonal best record. It was fun to watch--we ran into friends and coworkers. The weather was sunny---but chilly and windy. Congratulations Matt and Kellie. You read it here first.

yeah Matt! Who's Kellie??? She's great in my book to give Matt that kind of motivation. Great job Matt! :)

Did you all drink enough beer on Saturday to forget the OSU game when you got up? It was a very disappointing weekend at my house with both OSU and the Steelers going down for the count. Congratulation to Matt & Kellie on the race. Pretty soon Matt can run half-marathons with Denise!

There isn't enough beer in the world to make us forget that. What a bad game that was. Would have been harder to take had it been the first loss of the year.

I don't know about running with Denise....she's trained much longer than I have and I defintely don't want to lose to a cousin!
